Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 4, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Sunset Mesa Ventures LLC, doing business as GammaVibe ("GammaVibe," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information from students, coaching clients, and visitors ("you") of the GammaVibe Academy online school and its offerings, including courses and coaching, hosted on the Teachable platform (the "School").
By enrolling in or using the School, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not enroll in or use the School.
Who we are
The School is operated by:
Sunset Mesa Ventures LLC (dba GammaVibe) 2525 Arapahoe Ave Ste E4 #1342 Boulder, CO 80302, USA
For any privacy-related questions or requests, contact us at contact@gammavibe.com.
Information we collect
We collect the following types of information:
- Information you provide directly — such as your name and email address when you enroll in a course, create an account, or contact us.
- Payment information — Course purchases are processed by Teachable, which acts as our platform provider and merchant of record. We do not collect, process, or store your payment card or billing details on our own systems; this is handled by Teachable and its payment processors.
- Course activity — information about your use of the School, such as lessons viewed, course progress, and quiz responses, provided through the Teachable platform.
- Technical and usage data — such as your browser type, device information, and pages visited, collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies (see Cookies and analytics below).
- Coaching information — if you participate in coaching, we may receive information you choose to share with us during scheduling and sessions, such as your projects, code, ideas, designs, or career background. We treat this information as confidential and use it only to provide coaching to you.
You may browse certain pages of the School without providing personal information, but you will need to provide some information to enroll in or access a course.
How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide you with access to courses and operate the School;
- Process your enrollment and payments;
- Respond to your questions, requests, and support needs;
- Send you information related to your account, purchases, and courses;
- With your consent where required, send you marketing or educational emails (you can unsubscribe at any time);
- Understand and improve how students use the School, including through aggregated analytics.
How your information is shared
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
We share information only with service providers that help us operate the School, and only as needed for them to perform their services:
- Teachable — hosts the School, manages course delivery and accounts, and tracks course activity. Teachable also acts as the merchant of record for our courses: when you purchase a course, Teachable processes the transaction, calculates and collects any applicable taxes (such as VAT or U.S. sales tax), and secures your payment information under its own terms and privacy policy. Teachable uses third-party payment processors, including Stripe, to handle card and digital-wallet payments (such as PayPal, Apple Pay, and Google Pay).
- MailerLite — manages our email lists and communications. Through an integration with Teachable, your name and email are added to our MailerLite account when you enroll, so we can send you course updates, account notifications, and (where permitted) marketing emails.
- Google (Google Workspace) — if you purchase coaching, we use Google Workspace tools, including Google Calendar and Google Meet, to schedule and conduct sessions. This may involve processing your name, email address, and calendar invitation details. Google handles this information under its own privacy policy.
These providers are bound by their own privacy and security obligations. We may also disclose information if required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect our rights, property, or safety.
Cookies and analytics
The School uses cookies and similar technologies, some set by Teachable to operate the platform and keep you logged in. We may also use cookies and analytics tools to understand how visitors and students use the School—for example, which pages and lessons are most useful—so we can improve the experience.
Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through their settings. Disabling cookies may affect how parts of the School function.
How we protect and retain your information
We take reasonable measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the School, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you;
- Correct inaccurate information;
- Request deletion of your information;
- Object to or restrict certain processing;
- Receive a copy of your information in a portable format;
- Opt out of marketing communications at any time.
For residents of the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom: we process your personal information on the basis of performing our contract with you (providing the course you purchased), our legitimate interests in operating and improving the School, your consent (for example, for marketing emails), and compliance with legal obligations.
For residents of California and other U.S. states with applicable privacy laws: you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request its deletion, and to opt out of any sale of personal information. As stated above, we do not sell your personal information.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at contact@gammavibe.com. We will respond as required by applicable law. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Children's privacy
The School is intended for adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Third-party links
The School may contain links to other websites and services that we do not operate or control—for example, a link to an external community or resource. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any third-party site you visit.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the School after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
